The music of Johann Sebastian Bach has accompanied accordionist Viviane Chassot all her life. It was Bach who brought her to her instrument in the first place. After only one year, she was already playing the works of the Thomaskantor on the accordion. Even then she noticed how well the music of the Thomaskantor could be reproduced on the accordion. Based on this fact and not least on the experience of how much Bach’s music can convey power and strength through its size, clarity and structure, a Bach album has now been created – after Haydn and Mozart. With works from the “Woltemperierte Clavier”, the well-known ”Italian Concerto” as well as further Suites and Partitas.
